In the West, we’re taught to approach everything using our rational mind. And many couples who are struggling turn to marriage counseling but this can often be a long, painful and hurtful process.

The thing is, when you’re stuck in your mind, it’s impossible to see or feel how to implement the tips and ideas you’re given in counseling. And no matter how you try, you can’t seem to improve communication with your spouse and create that warm, loving connection you long for again. It feels like you’re trapped in a rut and your marriage will never change.

Over three days, I’ll guide you to discover the power of Kundalini yoga and how it can help you ignite intimacy and passion in your marriage.

Each day we’ll focus on a different practice involving your five bodies.

You’ll go away with a fresh perspective along with a set of simple but powerful tools and practices you can use every day to create a deeper, more profound connection with your spouse.

Day 1
Physical Body

Enjoy a short & easy movement practice.  The different angles of your body as you move will unlock new perspectives and move energy in your physical body. This is the first step in creating a deeper connection with your partner.

Day 2
Emotional Body

Discover the magic of pranayama breathing techniques. Learning these leads to a softening and opening of your heart – essential to creating a loving, warm relationship with your spouse. As my teacher Guru Singh say ‘what you breathe in, you believe in’.

Day 3
Mental Body

A fun guided journaling session, bookended by a breathing pranayama practice. Tap into your intuition to break out of ruts of belief and actions to discover fresh insight into the marriage you want to create. 

Day 4
Wisdom Body

Get in touch with your true self as you give yourself to this moving meditation. When you feel this light of certainty in who you are you become a full participant in crafting your future with your spouse, one that is inevitably fulfilling.

Day 5
Bliss Body

On the last day, we’ll bring everything together with a short Kriya. This is where you’ll learn how to enter your bliss body – a place of profound intimacy with your partner.

How Kundalini Changed My Life

I’d been dabbling in Kundalini yoga for a while when I went to London in August 2019 for a bonkers two weeks clearing out mum’s flat (she’d moved into a care home). I was finishing up doing the same Kriya – the same Kundalini practice – for 40 days. Each day you do it, it helps move energy in your body and create shifts and balances. I credit that hour on the mat each day with helping me flow through this difficult task with ease.

At that point, I’d been doing hatha / vinyasa yoga for a number of years, taken teacher training and was teaching yoga. I’d been amazed by its holistic effect – how yoga is an act of living every day. My experience in London showed me how much deeper – and higher – kundalini yoga goes. I did Kundalini teacher training and it’s radically changed my relationships – particularly with my husband.
